Warming Up to Autumn: The Orchard Cocktail

Warming Up to Autumn: The Orchard Cocktail

There’s a hush that comes with October, the leaves crunch louder, the skies soften, and suddenly, everything feels like it should be enjoyed by candlelight. It’s officially autumn, and with that comes the welcome return of all things warm, spiced, and berry-bright.

And while there are many ways to enjoy Pomme Blushe this season (we’ve tried a few…), there’s one that’s stolen our hearts - and our happy hour. Meet The Orchard: a cocktail that’s as crisp and comforting as your favourite scarf, with just enough boldness to keep things interesting.

Bursting with juicy fruit, mellowed by a cheeky splash of apple brandy, and finished with a tumble of berries, it’s like autumn in a glass.

Fancy it? Here’s how to make your own magic:

  • 3 parts Pomme Blushe
  • 1 part Apple brandy
  • A handful of fresh berries (blackberries or raspberries work a treat)

Gently muddle the berries at the bottom of your glass - just enough to wake them up. In a shaker, combine the Pomme Blushe and apple brandy with a generous scoop of ice. Shake until nicely chilled, then pour over the muddled berries. Add a few more berries on top (because more is more), and serve over fresh ice.

Sip slowly. Let the evening stretch. Maybe throw on a moody playlist. And when your glass runs dry? Well, you know what to do.

Here’s to long nights, short days, and the delicious in-between.
