Pomme Blushe Celebrates Another Award-Winning Melplash Show

Pomme Blushe Celebrates Another Award-Winning Melplash Show

There are few occasions that capture the spirit of Dorset quite like the Melplash Show.

Bringing together farmers, producers, independent businesses and visitors from across the county, the Melplash Show is a wonderful celebration of the people, produce and traditions that make Dorset so special.

This year, we were delighted to return and share Pomme Blushe, our English apple apéritif, with familiar faces and those discovering it for the first time.

Best Trade Stand Exhibit in the Food Hall

We were incredibly proud to be awarded Best Trade Stand Exhibit within the Melplash Show Food Hall for the second time.

Our stand was designed to bring the world of Pomme Blushe to life, from our Dorset beginnings and the English apples behind every bottle to the simple pleasure of gathering over a beautifully poured drink.

Receiving the award among the wonderful producers exhibiting in the Food Hall was a very special moment and recognition of the care that goes into every part of the Pomme Blushe experience.

We were also honoured to receive the Sandwich Plate for Outstanding Local Produce, presented by the Earl and Countess of Sandwich. As a brand born in the heart of Dorset, celebrating the county’s exceptional local produce means a great deal to us.

“A lovely, locally sourced product with excellent presentation. The graphics, aprons and stand layout ensured Pomme Blushe stood out from the rest!”

- Lady Julia Colfox

Sharing our English Apple Apéritif

Throughout the day, we welcomed visitors to sample Pomme Blushe, discover our story and explore different ways to serve our English apple apéritif.

It was a pleasure to introduce so many people to its bright, fresh character while catching up with those who already know and enjoy it. The conversations, kind words and enthusiasm made the occasion even more memorable.

Celebrating Apple Season

Our Melplash Show success feels especially fitting as we move into apple season, a particularly special time of year for Pomme Blushe, as the English apple harvest gets underway.

Thank you to the Melplash Show, the judges and everyone who visited our stand. We’re incredibly proud to bring both awards home and continue celebrating the very best of Dorset.

The celebrations continue this October. We’ll be at Cowdray Apple Day at Cowdray Estate on Saturday 10th and Symondsbury Apple Day at Symondsbury Estate on Sunday 25th, sharing a taste of Pomme Blushe and raising a glass to the harvest.
